     Being updated means giving someone the most recent information. Knowing this, the same goes for staying updated on the online community. It gives the most current trend on the internet. And that's the first importance of staying updated on the online community. It helps us to stay aware of different scenarios happening all over the world. We can stay aware of the latest news and prepare for current world happenings. The best example of this is when the COVID-19 pandemic came, cause aside from televisions and radios as the source of information, online also helps us to keep updated even before the outbreak of the virus, during and after. It consistently reminds and teaches us various things to do and considered while experiencing the said pandemic. 

   Moreover, by grabbing the breaking news update, we can easily take important decisions. In connection with the first example, it continuously reminds and teaches us things to be considered. For instance, it advises us to just stay at home thus it helps us weigh things to make a better decision. 

     Lastly, being well aware of the current happenings around us, we are given a chance to learn more and be knowledgeable enough to participate and take part in some debates about some kind of issues. Hence, we can easily share our diverse thoughts and ideas and get to know others' personal opinions.
